Alison Jones

Alison Jones co-ordinates the 2-3 years Early Childhood Music Program at the Macquarie Conservatorium. Alison has a Diploma of Early Childhood Studies and has worked for many years with children in Queensland and New South Wales. She enjoys working with young children and sharing her passion for music with them and aims to foster their awareness and love of music through songs, movement and exploration of voice and instruments.

Alison is a member of the Dubbo Theatre Society (DATS) and the Harmony Singers. She has two children who are both very active in the area of arts through dance, theatre and music, both instrumental and voice.

 

Barbara Redgrave

Barbara Redgrave trained as a primary school teacher specialising in infant education (K-2).

Her teaching career of 32 years has encompassed many aspects of school music including infant choirs, percussion and bush bands, presenting in-service courses and the role of support consultant for K-6 Music Syllabus.

Having studied piano and clarinet, Barbara is currently a community member of choir and theatre groups. She holds the position of President of the City of Dubbo Eisteddfod and is the Concert Representative on the Board of the Macquarie Conservatorium.

A highly skilled and committed teacher and musician, Barbara began teaching Early Childhood Music in 2005.
